Benoit St. Denis will attempt to add a significant feather to his cap in the Big Apple this fall.
St. Denis will square off against Beneil Dariush in a lightweight clash at UFC 322 on Nov. 15. French outlet RMC Sport was first to report the booking. UFC 322 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York and is headlined by a welterweight championship showdown between Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev.
’God of War’ On a Roll Thus Far in 2025
St. Denis has been victorious in his first two Octagon appearances of 2025 thus far. “God of War” kicked off his campaign with a second-round submission of Kyle Prepolec at UFC 315 before tapping out highly-touted Fighting Nerds prospect Mauricio Ruffy with a face crank at UFC Paris on Sept. 6. The 29-year-old Frenchman is 7-3 during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
Dariush, 36, emerged as one of the top contenders in the lightweight division thanks to an eight-fight promotional winner streak from 2018 to 2022. The Kings MMA product lost some luster, however, after suffering back-to-back knockout losses against Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan in 2023. Dariush returned to the win column with a three-round verdict over Renato Carneiro at UFC 317 on June 28.
