Calvillo needed a victory after missing weight in two of her last three fights and also suffering her first pro loss and she outworked a hardy Casey to score a unanimous decision win. This would be her last win at 115 pounds as she would again miss weight in her next outing, which ended in a majority draw against Marina Rodriguez.
This Saturday, Calvillo makes her UFC flyweight debut when she takes on Jessica Eye in the main event of a UFC APEX show in Las Vegas.
