UFC veteran Ismail Naurdiev vs. Amiran Gogoladze to crown welterweight champion headlines EMC 6

A welterweight champion will be crowned at EMC 6 on Oct. 31 when UFC veteran Ismail Naurdiev faces off with 22-year-old prospect Amiran Gogoladze in the main event from Dusseldorf, Germany.

The fight will serve as the finals of the EMC Welterweight Grand Prix, which kicked off with EMC 5.

On that night, Naurdiev picked up a unanimous decision win over Tymoteusz Lopaczyk to get back on track after leaving the UFC following four fights with the promotion. “The Austrian Wonderboy” moved to 20-4 overall with the win in the first round of the grand prix.

Meanwhile, Gogoladze needed just 54 seconds to tear through PFL veteran Pavel Kusch in his opening round fight at EMC 5. The victory put Gogoladze on a six-figth win streak.

Gogoladze is 11-1 overall with numerous fights coming in M-1 as well and he will certainly stand as a tough test for Naudiev in the finals.

More fights will be announced for EMC 6 in the coming weeks with the entire card airing live on FITE TV.
