Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens engage in tense face off ahead of UFC Mexico City main event

MEXICO CITY — Ahead of their main event clash on Saturday night, Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens hit the scale and then faced off in front of a raucous Mexico City crowd as they prepare to meet in a five round battle in the featherweight division.

Rodriguez is looking to build upon his stunning last-second win over “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung in his last outing that put the highly-touted prospect back on the featherweight map.

Meanwhile, Stephens will try to bounce back from a pair of consecutive losses as the heavy-handed veteran seeks to play spoiler in Mexico while facing Rodriguez in the main event.
