Russian fighter Zelim Imadaev will take on Danny Roberts at UFC Fight Night 163 in Moscow, the promotion announced Monday.
Imadeav is coming off an Octagon debut where he lost to Max Griffin via majority decision at UFC 236. Before that, the 24-year-old was fighting locally in Russia in promotions like Fight Nights Global, where he went 8-0 before the call to the Las Vegas-based promotion. All of his eight wins have also come by KO/TKO.
Roberts, meanwhile, is on a two-fight losing streak. Earlier this year, he was submitted by Claudio Henrique da Silva in controversial fashion at UFC London. In his next fight, he was knocked out by Michel Pereira by a flying knee and a punch at UFC Fight Night 152. The Englishman is 5-4 inside the Octagon.
UFC Fight Night 163 goes down on Nov. 9 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Junior dos Santos and Alexander Volkov.
