Brogan Walker-Sanchez Replaces Geltmacher, Meets Erin Blanchfield at Invicta FC 41

Brogan Walker-Sanchez will step in for Stephanie Geltmacher and face Erin Blanchfield in the new Invicta Fighting Championships 41 co-main event.

The promotion announced the change to the flyweight bout on Tuesday. A reason for Geltmacher’s withdrawal was not revealed. Invicta FC 41 takes place behind closed doors in Kansas City, Kansas, on July 30 and is headlined by a strawweight clash between Janaisa Morandin and Montserrat Ruiz. The card streams on UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Guam’s Walker-Sanchez began her professional tenure with six consecutive triumphs before dropping a unanimous verdict to Pearl Gonzalez at Invicta FC 37 this past October. She kicked off her Invicta career with wins over Cheri Muraski and Miranda Maverick.

Blanchfield improved to 3-1 with the all-female promotion thanks to a head-kick knockout of Victoria Leonardo at Invicta FC 39 in February. The 21-year-old is 5-1, with her only defeat coming at the hands of UFC talent Tracy Cortez.
