The 29-year-old Frenchman will square off against Donovan Desmae in the PFL Europe 3 co-main event on Sept. 26, the promotion announced on Wednesday. PFL Europe 3 takes place at Zenith Nantes Metropole in Nantes, France, and is headlined by a welterweight clash pitting Abdoul Abdouraguimov against Kevin Jousset. The card will also feature semifinal bouts at bantamweight and lightweight and streams on the PFL app in the U.S.

The 29-year-old Ayoub has compiled a 23-6-1 mark since beginning his professional tenure in 2014. The former Brave Combat Federation lightweight champion will enter his PFL debut on a seven-bout winning streak. In addition to Brave CF, “The Fierceness” has competed for notable organizations such as KSW, Ares and UAE Warriors.
“This is not just a signature. It’s a promise. PFL, I’m ready for war. Pain breaks the weak, glory crowns the warrior,” Ayoub said in a release.
Belgium’s Desmae ended his 2024 campaign with back-to-back triumphs. The 33-year-old is well traveled on the European regional scene and has enjoyed stints in promotions such as KSW and Cage Warriors while putting together a 19-10 career record.
“Almost the same number of fights, almost the same ranking in our country and Europe. I’m making it clear, it’s gonna be a dog fight,” Desmae said in a release.
