Baisangur Susurkaev is trying to make the most of his opportunity in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The Khamzat Chimaev training partner will step into the Octagon for the second time in three months when he meets Eric McConico at UFC 322 on Nov. 15. The booking was announced on the Dana White’s Contender Series broadcast on Tuesday night. UFC 322 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York and is headlined by a welterweight title tilt between Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev.

Susurkaev Earned Two Wins in Five Days

Susurkaev earned a UFC contract with a first-round KO of Murtaza Talha Ali on Dana White’s Contender Series on Aug. 12. That weekend, he made his Octagon debut at UFC 319, where he scored a second-round submission of Eric Nolan. The 24-year-old is 10-0 as a professional, with all but one of his victories coming inside the distance.

McConico, 35, has split his first two UFC appearances. After falling to Nursulton Ruziboev via second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night 252 on Feb. 22, he rebounded to take a split verdict against Cody Brundage at UFC on ESPN 72 on Aug. 9.
