Everything else is up in the air.

“I mean, everybody wants to be on this card,” White said at the UFC Nashville post-fight press conference. “I mean, you don’t even have to know who’s blowing up my phone. You can just see it all on the internet. But, you know, the fight’s a year away. So the landscape will change a lot over the next year.”

White did confirm that it will be one of the UFC’s pay-per-view events, and that it will be “the best card we can possibly put together.” Many of the other details regarding the unprecedented card are still being worked out. However, White does have a vision of how it will unfold.

White: UFC Team Has Already Walked the White House

“We’re going to be on the south lawn and literally when you’re watching the fight, this will all be the White House [on one side] and then behind me will be the Washington Monument,” White said.

“We’re just getting into the logistics now. My team have already walked the White House with the staff there. Now we’re putting together the design. We’ll all fly out to D.C. and sit down with [President Donald Trump] and see what he wants to do.”

One of the prominent names who has expressed interested in showcasing his skills at the White House, is Jon Jones, who ended his retirement after two weeks to re-enter the UFC drug testing pool.

White reiterated that he wasn’t interested in speculating who might be on the card.

“It’s a year away. It’s not even worth talking about who would be on the card,” he said. “The entire MMA landscape will be different a year from now.”
