Ex-UFC Heavyweight Champ to Face Reality TV Star in Misfits Boxing Debut

Andrei Arlovski will continue his combat sports journey outside the UFC when he makes his Misfits Boxing debut next month.

The former UFC heavyweight champion will square off against reality star Kelechi Dyke — more commonly known as Kelz — in a heavyweight contest on Nov. 9 in Nashville. The promotion confirmed the booking, which is part of the card known as “MF Duel,” on Tuesday.

Could Arlovski Be ‘Too Hot to Handle’ for Kelz?

Arlovski parted ways with the UFC following a split-decision defeat to Martin Buday at UFC 303 in June 2024. “The Pit Bull” had 42 fights and 23 victories while competing for the Las Vegas-based promotion, but his contract was not renewed on the heels of a four-bout losing streak. Since then, “The Pit Bull” has earned victories over Terrance Hodges under the Dirty Boxing banner and against Josh Copeland at BKFC 76.

Kelz rose to prominence on the Netflix reality show “Too Hot to Handle” in 2020 and later appeared on MTV series such as “The Challenge” and “Spies, Lies and Allies.” Kelz began his Misfits Boxing tenure with a knockout of Oluwatobiloba Aiyeola — aka “Big Tobz” — in September 2024 — before dropping a unanimous decision to fellow “Too Hot to Handle” star Chase DeMoor last November. Both fights were classified as exhibitions.
