Flyweight contender gets bout on home soil at UFC Ottawa

Jasmine Jasudavicius will get a home game for her next UFC outing.

The 36-year-old Ontario, Canada native will square off against Karine Silva at a UFC Fight Night event expected to be held in Ottawa on April 18. Ag.Fight was first to report the flyweight booking. UFC Ottawa does not current have a main event.

Momentum Halted

Jasudavicius had a five-bout winning streak snapped in her most recent Octagon appearance, when she suffered a first-round TKO defeat to former title challenger Manon Fiorot at UFC Fight Night 262 this past October Jasudavicius’ winning streak included notable triumphs over the likes of Jessica Andrade and Mayra Bueno Silva. The Niagara Top Team representative is 8-3 in the Las Vegas-based promotion overall.

Silva has lost two of her last three fights. After beginning her 2025 with a unanimous decision victory against Dione Barbosa at UFC 319, the 32-year-old Brazilian dropped a three-round verdict to Maycee Barber at UFC 323 this past December. “Killer” is 5-2 during her Octagon tenure after earning a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021.
