Ex-Bellator Standouts Collide

McKee (23-2) lost his Bellator featherweight title against Patricio Freire in 2022. “The Mercenary” then racked up a four-fight winning streak, which extended to the PFL after the promotion took over Bellator MMA. McKee was on the cusp of a title shot before dropping a split decision against future title contender Paul Hughes last year. McKee has since rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Akhmed Magomedov this past July.

Meanwhile, Borics (20-3)  went 9-2 in Bellator before making his PFL debut in 2024 after nearly a two-year hiatus. The Hungarian is 2-1 in the PFL and coming off a decision win over Jeremy Kennedy. “The Kid” is also a training partner of Hughes, the last man to beat McKee.
