Jedrzejczyk (16-5) recently shared an episode after which she decided to never get into a street fight again. Jedrzejczyk was at a party where a drunk guy was spilling beer on the dance floor. The guy refused to leave even at the DJ’s request. When Jedrzejczyk confronted the guy, she was met with disrespectful comments and vile gestures. The former UFC women’s strawweight champion defended her honor by knocking the guy out flat. However, Jedrzejczyk was scared for her life when the guy’s friends started gathering around. Jedrzejczyk left the club and decided never to get into a street fight again.

A Matter of Pride
“One time I was at the party, that guy was super drunk,” Jedrzejczyk told Chuck Liddell on the “King of Violence” podcast. “He was spilling the beer. DJ said, ‘Hey please leave the dance floor with the glass.’ And then he was still dancing, I told him, ‘Hey man, I think the DJ was talking to you, so you should leave.’ He started [smack talking] to me, and he showed me like I should suck his d—k. So I was like,’Oh, really.’ Boom [punched him] and he went down. And all these big guys they were like, ‘This girl just knocked the s—t out of this guy.’ I was scared to death and I left the party, left the club. I thought they were gonna come for me. I said never ever again will I get into a street fight. But I had to take care of my pride.”
Jedrzejczyk defended the strawweight title five times before losing it to Rose Namajunas in 2017. The Polish star retired in 2022 following a knockout loss against Weili Zhang.
