A featherweight clash pitting Makwan Amirkhani against Mike Grundy has been added to the UFC London lineup.
Promotion officials confirmed the booking on Tuesday. UFC London takes place at The O2 Arena on March 21 and is headlined by a welterweight tilt between Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards. The card is expected to air on ESPN+.
Amirkhani began his promotional tenure with victories in five of his first six appearances. “Mr. Finland” suffered his second defeat in the Octagon in his most recent outing, as he suffered a third-round TKO defeat at the hands of Shane Burgos at UFC 244 on Nov. 2.
A native of Manchester, England, Grundy has lost just once in 13 professional bouts dating back to his debut in 2014. The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts veteran made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 147, where he stopped Nad Narimani via second-round TKO this past March.
