With PFL Africa Chairman Francis Ngannou in attendance. The PFL Africa 3: 2025 Semifinals event would see four different weight divisions set their tournament championship, as eight fighters will now compete in December to be crowned the inaugural PFL Africa champion in their respective division.

The evening started with what was supposed to be a non-tournament featherweight showcase fight between Alain Majorique and Mohamed Camara, but after four fighters missed weight on Friday, their clash was elevated into a semifinal. Majorique edged out a decision victory, earning a spot in the championship fight on just 24 hours’ notice.

Early action on the card was filled with plenty of decisions, but it was a heavyweight showcase fight that stole the spotlight. Abdoulaye Kane scored the highlight of the night—and one of the best finishes of the year—with a 23-second head kick knockout of Emmanuel Mukam. Kane’s perfectly placed right shin folded Mukam instantly, a walkoff moment as the referee motioned the doctor into the cage.

Another highlight-reel knockout came in the chaotic bantamweight semifinal matchup between Karim Henniene and Boule Godogo. Henniene and Godogo produced the most entertaining fight on the card, stepping on the gas pedal from the beginning and never letting up. The two began talking and taunting early in the first round and never let up. Godogo picked up momentum in the second and third rounds, but as the fight drew near its end, Henniene landed a flying knee out of nowhere that closed the show.

Originally scheduled as a featherweight semifinal matchup, Patrick Ocheme and Abdoul Razac Sankara failed to make weight and their matchup would get moved to a catchweight showcase fight. In what was a very competitive back-and-forth fight that appeared to the way of Sankara, it was Ocheme who picked up the victory by way of split decision.

When the dust settled, four championship matchups were set for later this year. The bantamweight tournament will see Henniene take on Nkosi Ndebele who earned a split decision victory in the main event over Simbarashe Hokonya. In the featherweight championship it will be short notice winner Majorique taking on Wasi Adeshina, as both fighters won their matchups by decision, while the welterweight championship will see Yabna N’Tchala go up against Shido Boris Esperanca who had an incredible comeback performance in defeating Ayinda Octave. And as former UFC champ Ngannou looked on, heavyweights Abraham Bably and Justin Clarke earned their spots in the final.
