Professional Fighters League has released its first official rankings system ahead of its first event of 2026.

The league on Tuesday announced via release that its rankings will be “officiated and administered” by Combat Registry, “a leading global combat sports data and rankings organization used across top MMA promotions, including the UFC.”

The PFL rankings will track fighters across nine divisions, including a men’s pound-for-pound poll. The rankings will be determined by a panel of media and other industry experts who will cast their ballots after each PFL event. This voting process will operate independently of the PFL through Combat Registry. Champions will automatically be listed at the top of each respective division.

“These rankings provide a clear, objective snapshot of where each PFL division stands,” said PFL CEO John Martin. “By partnering with an independent data organization like Combat Registry, we’re giving fans and our athletes a transparent and credible rankings system that reflects performance inside the PFL cage.”

The organization will return with PFL Road to Dubai on Feb. 7. That card is headlined by a lightweight clash between champion — and pound-for-pound No. 1 — Usman Nurmagomedov and Alfie Davis.
