Surging Australian talent Quillan Salkilld will face a different opponent than originally expected at UFC 325.
The Las Vegas-based promotion recently announced that Zhu Rong has withdrawn from the lightweight bout and will be replaced by Jamie Mullarkey. UFC 325 takes place on Jan. 31 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, and is headlined by a featheweight title rematch between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes.
Building Momentum
Salkilld will take a 10-fight professional winning streak — including a trio of UFC triumphs — into the matchup with Mullarkey. Most recently, the 26-year-old Aussie scored a head-kick knockout of Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 321 this past October.
Mullarkey, meanwhile, has gone 6-6 during his UFC tenure. The 31-year-old City Kickboxing representative was successful in his lone appearance of 2025, as he outpointed Rolando Bedoya to snap a two-fight skid at UFC Perth on Sept. 27.
