Sean Strickland Claims He Was Denied Permission to Attend UFC 323

Sean Strickland couldn’t watch his friends fight at UFC 323

Strickland (29-7) is currently suspended in Las Vegas after entering the cage to attack a fighter at a Tuff-N-Uff event earlier this year. The former middleweight champion allegedly could not attend UFC 323 at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday despite his best efforts. Strickland claims the UFC bosses personally called him to deny permission to attend the event.

“Well… I wanted to go watch the homies fight tonight but the UFC bosses personally called me to tell me to f myself I’m suspended and can’t come… lol,” Strickland wrote on Threads.

Warnings from Above

Strickland further hinted that the UFC is subtly warning him against being his unabashed self.
Strickland wrote:

“These are the conversations I have with the UFC bosses.
‘Sean they might put you in jail’
‘Sean ill never tell you what to say but I wouldn’t recommend it’
‘Sean you should delete that but you don’t have to”’
‘Sean just shut the f—k up for like two weeks till we get the deal done’
Never just a homie call wanting to go snowboarding.. I mean [they’re] rich and white they probably ski like a bunch of …….. lol”

Strickland hasn’t fought since failing to reclaim his title in a rematch against Dricus Du Plessis this past February. He is scheduled to headline UFC Houston against Anthony Hernandez on Feb. 21.
