Carlos Ulberg stole the show at UFC Perth.
The City Kickboxing standout received a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for his first-round knockout of Dominick Reyes in the UFC Fight Night 260 headliner at the RAC Arena on Saturday night in Perth, Australia. Ulberg floored his opponent with a two-punch combination, then sealed his victory with a follow-up strike at the 4:27 mark of Round 1. “Black Jag” has won his last nine UFC appearances and has a strong case for the next title shot at 205 pounds.
In the co-main event, Jimmy Crute pocked a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” check for his quick submission of Ivan Erslan in their light heavyweight encounter. The 29-year-old Aussie made his adversary say uncle with a rarely-seen reverse can opener 3:19 in the opening stanza for his second consecutive first-round finish.

Earlier, Tom Nolan took home a $50,000 “Peformance of the Night” award for a raucous victory over Charlie Campbell at lighweight. Nolan survived an early knockdown and engaged in a slugfest with his foe before securing a takedown. From there, Nolan took Campbell’s back and secured a rear-naked choke submission 4:08 into the opening stanza.
Promotional newcomer Brando Pericic garnered the evening’s final $50,000 “Performance of the Night” payout for a technical knockout of Elisha Ellison in a preliminary heavyweight scrap. After Pericic punished his opponent with elbows, Ellison made an ill-advised attempt to pull guard, which allowed the City Kickboxing export to end the contest with punches at the 1:55 mark of Round 1.
