UFC Vegas 112 Bonuses: Four Fighters Earn Extra $50K

The final Ultimate Fighting Championship card of 2025, and the ESPN era, saw four fighters walk home with an extra $50k each.

Heavyweight newcomers Steven Asplund and Sean Sharaf started the action early in a heavyweight banger on the prelims. Debutant Asplund (7-1) picked Sharaf (4-2) apart before dispatching him late in the second round. While Sharaf was left with ghastly cuts on his face, his valor didn’t go unrewarded as the bout won the “Fight of the Night” honors at UFC Vegas 112.

Meanwhile, both the co-main event and headliner delivered as expected. Manel Kape knocked out former title contender Brandon Royval in the first round of the flyweight headliner. While Royval protested the stoppage, many believe Herb Dean saved him from further damage. Kape (22-7) earned a $50K Performance of the Night bonus for his victory over Royval (17-9). The Angolan is now on the cusp of a title shot against newly crowned champ Joshua Van.

Surging prospect Kevin Vallejos (17-1) also earned a bonus by knocking out Giga Chikadze. The Argentinian rocked Chikadze (15-6) with a spinning backfist before finishing him with vicious ground-and pound.
