Pereira recently surprised his father with a brand new electric cart, which was seemingly the gift he wanted. Pereira’s father couldn’t control his tears, which is a rare sight for the UFC light heavyweight champion.

“Is this what you wanted? Now you can drive it around,” Pereira said on Instagram. “It’s not easy to make him cry just because of a little car.”
A Token of Gratitude
It was a proud moment for “Poatan” to be able to gift something to his father, who sacrificed a lot while raising them.
“Very happy to be able to present my dad, he deserves it a lot because he stopped having his own things to be able to raise seven children,” Pereira wrote on Instagram. “Thank you dad.”
Pereira (13-3) reclaimed the light heavyweight title by knocking out Magomedov Ankalaev this past October. The Brazilian is now teasing a move up to heavyweight for a potential superfight against Jon Jones.
